This view is really enchanting to watch.wild trees seen along the transparent water stream shading one  from the basking sun. it is a new world up there your exhaustion fades away seeing such a lovely place with goats sheep and yak rearing over the grass land bounded with various colors of wild flowers. some coarse hut as a shelter made from rocks with branch wood and fodder cover top.

The shepherds have an enclosed cattle shed without roof where every morning they are milked sheared before they are let free to rear.

Next to shemijerab is khundahell which is  to the north of kundah hell is much larger and more beautiful meadow with full of juniper wild trees old and new the old one sagging down broken rotten making a cave like structures,posing  a mysterious look. there are tent like shelters madeout of wild plant branches called “kerch” in wakhi.where the shepherd would stay in the past.

Kundah hell is accessible from shemjerab but the trek is very inconvenient but it can be reached from yarzrich a small settlement from the base. which has a regular way up along an irrigation channel that joins the stream.

Shpodeen Pass Trek

Lupgar Sar Trek
A jeepable way was constructed all the way to the shimshal valley but before the locals used to walk or trek all the way using a dangerous trek with ustable timbers layed across the narrow parts of the river. a jeepable drive takes you to a point called dut, this is where you get off and start your trek to the base of the lupgar sar stay the night after a day’s long weary trek.locals seen driving their flock up the pasture which is tiresome and risky trek.despite this inconveniant trek the surrounding view imparts an elegant look of the the towering lupgar sar 7200meters sticking towards the sky. next to lupgar sar is the yazgel sar peak which is some two days trek from shimshal and which link the kherdopin pass and furzjerab which lay on the chinese border.the kherdopin pass is really challenging for the climbers.the furzjerab valley pass falls into baltistan the furzjerab snow lake poses threat to the settlements of shimshal valley.

Borith Sar Trek

Unlike all other treks this trek is rather a unique one with a number of resorts coming your way after one another as you keep climbing ahead. before you start this trek a local jeep will drive you up to the last point of kamaris village this is where the road ends and the trek starts, first you climb through a path will rock walls built either sided amid the thorny bushes but soon the way starts so even easy to walk for two hours than gradually you happen to start climbing the slope the point where the clear spring water originates from the rocky base which feed supplies the whole village with pure water.

The trek starts on the jerav hell which means the gorge meadow in wakhi and juy hell just above it which means lake meadow which once bursted and ended being a lake.after juyhell you come across the most beautiful meadow called bokhtar hell which has a breathtaking look the whole descending glacier with greeny bounded with various flowers and herbs.you may stay the night there just under the dangerous and marvellous gulmit  tower the PIA flight route over it.
